Pediatric Therapy Services in Boulder, Colorado

Getting Started: What You Need to Know

As a new parent, we know you have many questions. Here are the ones we hear the most.

Where will therapy sessions take place?

In your home! Home-based therapy provides a number of advantages over a center or clinical based program:

* Infants, children, parents and/or caregivers are often more relaxed in a familiar environment
* Families are able to learn first hand how to help their infant or child reach their therapy goals in their own enviornment
* Therapists can demonstrate how to incorporate the infant or child's toys, equipment and environment to practice new skills
* Busy families do not have to worry about transporting infant or children and their equipment to a center, reducing stress and cancellations
* Medically fragile infants and children susceptible to illness are not exposed to infection in public waiting rooms.

How long are therapy appointments?

We provide a complimentary 20-minute initial phone consultation. During this call, you can help Bolder Beginnings understand the nature of your current concerns, and we can discuss whether therapy is the best option for achieving your goals. If it seems that therapy would be beneficial, we will invite you to schedule a face-to-face initial evaluation session, where we can better determine the goals and duration of your therapy.

How much do therapy services cost?

* Evaluations: $200
* Treatment Session: $120/session (60 minutes) or $30 for every 15 minutes
* Phone Consults: Calls/texts under 10 minutes free; $45 for a 30-minute session

What are payment options?

We accept Visa, MasterCard, and Discover, as well as personal check or PayPal. In addition, your insurance company may provide partial reimbursement for our services as an out-of-network provider. We will ask that you pay Bolder Beginnings directly, and then we can provide you with a billing summary (super bill) for you to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement.

Please fully research your out of network benefits prior to starting therapy. You may want to ask your insurance company about:
* Prior authorization requirements
* Your deductible amount
* Your copay responsibility
* Number of sessions allowed per year
* Percentage covered by insurance
